At the 1976 Montreal Olympic Games, the athlete made headlines after scoring the world's first perfect ten on asymmetrical bars. She then went on to get the same feat with six more perfect tens, and became the smallest Olympic All-around gold medallist in the world at just 14. Not only did Nadia Comaneci attracted attention from every angle, but she also helped Romania find itself a place on the global map. She became a global sensation when she scored an unimaginable score. Her story became a legend, and helped popularize gymnastics throughout the world. It changed how people viewed female gymnasts. Such was her impact in this Olympics that even the uneven bar event features two gymnastics moves named after her toe-on and release. These moves still are assessed at a very difficult level. Alongside the Olympics she also exhibited a stunning results at the World Championships and European Championships too, and thus became the living legend of her time and one of the best-known gymnasts anyone could be privileged to. After her departure to the US the 'Queen of Olympics began modeling and sports equipment promotion.
